  • Rice 2 servings or 2 plates
  • Red onion, diced 3 cloves
  • Onion ¼ fruit, diced
  • Green onion 1 stem, thinly sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • Peeled corn ½ fruit
  • Carrot ½ fruit, diced, and boiled until half cooked
  • 1 small chayote pumpkin, diced
  • Sausage 1 piece, cut into rounds
  • Grilled chicken 1 portion/ 1 piece, diced
  • Soy sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar ¾ teaspoon
  • Pepper ½ teaspoon
  • Flavoring 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil ½ teaspoon – 1 teaspoon (optional)
  • Oil for stir fry

How to make halal Hong Kong fried rice

If all the ingredients have been prepared, then follow the procedure for making the following halal Hong Kong fried rice:

  • First, heat the oil in a non-stick pan
  • Once the oil is hot, use it to sauté the shallots, onions and garlic chives.
  • Sauté until dry and add the eggs on the edge of the pan then stir – stir so the eggs form scrambled.
  • Add corn, carrots, chayote, sausages and grilled chicken. Saute briefly and stir so that all the ingredients are mixed.
  • Add chopped green onions and sesame oil.
  • Pour in the prepared soy sauce and fish sauce. Also pour in the spices that have not been added.
  • Add the rice to the wok then cook until the rice is slightly dry.
  • Stir until all the ingredients are mixed, then turn off the heat.
  • Pour the fried rice that has been made on a serving plate and sprinkle on top with green onions.
  • Serve.
