Banana Pudding Parfaits

Break the graham cracker squares into crumbs and add a layer to the bottom of each of the 4 glasses.

Use half of the pudding to coat the layer of graham cracker crumbs, then top with a second layer of graham cracker crumbs.

Spread the pudding and whipped topping mixture on top of the graham crackers in the cups, then add another layer of graham cracker crumbs.

We are updating our kitchen by taking it from the yellow laminate glory of the 1970s and bringing it into the 21st century. I mean, it’s been a long time since I bought an oven.

Yogurt Parfait Recipe (with Fruit & Granola)

No matter how much I miss having an oven, it was nice to make desserts that don’t cook easily. One of my favorite no-bake desserts is this No-Oven Apple Pie Parfait recipe.

It features sour apples tossed with sweet, spicy apple butter. Apples are sandwiched between layers of creamy filling consisting of sweet cream, tangy Greek yogurt, and crumbled cookies.

So this no-bake dessert is easy and delicious! A simple and refreshing way to enjoy all the flavors of apple pie without all the work (and heat!).

In a third large bowl, whisk the cream until it reaches a stiff peak (3). If you need extra tips, check out this post on how to make whipped cream.

Paradise Parfaits {strawberry Pineapple Parfait}

Fold the Greek yogurt mixture into the whipped cream until combined (4). Be sure to fold rather than mix so that the whipped cream does not lose its volume.

To combine, put about 2 tablespoons of cream in the bottom of the plate (5). Top with cookie crumbs (6).

Fill the cookie crumbs with about 2 tablespoons of the cream mixture (7). Add a layer of apples on top of the cream (8).

These parfaits are best eaten shortly after they are made. However, it can be done up to 24 hours in advance.

If you’re making them ahead of time, don’t top them off with the last round of cookie crumbs. Otherwise, the cookie crumbs will soften as they sit.

What makes parfaits special is the refreshing whipped cream—cream cheese adds extra body and stabilizes the whipped cream so the dessert lasts longer and a splash of liqueur elevates the flavor. This is a great prep dessert for a party, and you can make your life easier by placing the parfaits in disposable plastic wine glasses. Feel free to replace raspberries with other berries or try different liqueurs. Strawberry Parfait Recipe

Combine cream cheese, liqueur, and sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment or handheld electric mixer.

Start beating on low speed (so it doesn’t splash), then increase speed to high and beat for about 2 minutes, until the mixture has a pudding-like consistency.

Scatter half of the raspberries into the bottom of glasses or dessert cups, then distribute two-thirds of the cream mixture to cover the berries in each serving.

Distribute remaining fruit evenly in glasses or dessert cups and gently place on top of the cream layer. Pour the remaining cream evenly over each piece.

Strawberry Cheesecake Parfaits

Refrigerate for at least an hour or up to 4 hours. Garnish each serving with a sprig of mint and serve.
